Career Highlights

David’s Story

Where It All Began

David has been an avid storyteller and visual creative for his whole life. His career officially began in 2006, when he hustled his way onto his first feature film set – whilst still in high school! David helped out with special effects on the film, slowly learning the inner workings of a functional set.  The smoke and mirrors had him hooked!

From there, he further developed his obsession with film at Bond University, where he gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Television, before entering the industry as a camera assistant in 2009.

In 2012 David and his partner (now wife) Lauren-ann founded Creative Path Films, where he has been producing work ever since.

David cut his teeth as a Director at the Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio – learning from and working alongside Casting Director Tom McSweeney.

At the studio, he worked with hundreds of actors, helping them hone their technical filmmaking skills and performance craft – teaching them how to be entrepreneurial actors and filmmakers.

Today, David produces, directs and films a variety of creative projects, encompassing film, documentary, music video and advertising content.
